Introduction

HypePull ("we", "our", or "us") operates the HypePull platform at https://www.hypepull.com and the HypePull Twitch Extension. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using HypePull, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

From Streamers (via Twitch OAuth)

  • Twitch User ID, username, email address, and avatar URL
  • OAuth tokens required to access the Twitch API on your behalf (scopes: channel:read:subscriptions, moderator:read:followers, channel:manage:redemptions)
  • Card creations, including uploaded or AI-generated images and associated metadata (name, rarity, description)
  • Booster configurations (name, drop rates, cost settings)
  • Payment-related identifiers processed through Stripe (Stripe session ID, purchase amount, credits purchased). We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details.

From Viewers (via Twitch Extension)

  • Twitch User ID or opaque user ID as provided by the Twitch Extension JWT
  • Card collection data (which cards you own and quantities)
  • Booster opening history
  • Your subscription status to the channel where the extension is installed

Feedback Submissions

  • Message content and feedback type (bug report, feature request, or other)
  • Email address (optional, only if you choose to provide it)
  • Twitch User ID of the submitter

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the HypePull platform and Twitch Extension
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process payments and manage purchased credits or card slots
  • Track card collections and booster opening history for gameplay purposes
  • Manage Twitch Channel Point rewards and EventSub integrations on your behalf
  • Generate AI card artwork based on prompts you provide
  • Respond to feedback and support requests
  • Monitor and improve performance, stability, and user experience

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate HypePull:

  • Supabase — Database hosting, user authentication, and file storage. Privacy Policy
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data directly; we never see or store your full card details. Privacy Policy
  • Twitch (Amazon) — Authentication via OAuth, Channel Points integration, and EventSub webhooks. Privacy Policy
  • Replicate — AI image generation. Only the text prompt you provide is sent to Replicate; no personal user data is transmitted. Privacy Policy
  • Vercel Analytics — Anonymous, aggregated website usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected. Privacy Policy
  • Sentry — Error tracking and performance monitoring. May collect technical information such as browser type, error stack traces, and session context to help us diagnose issues. Privacy Policy

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security policies enforced at the database level. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

We retain your account and collection data for as long as your account remains active. Payment records are retained as required for legal and accounting purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

While we implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Children's Privacy

HypePull is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
